Salad

Our next new food item is rather a staple in my vegetarian lifestyle:

"To somebody who had been living on meals of increasingly stale cake all summer, this was paradise, and at first, Harry listened rather than talked as he helped himself to chicken and ham pie, boiled potatoes, and salad" (Goblet of Fire, 61).

There are so many salad options out there, and so many ways to put them together! I think that Mrs. Weasley would probably serve up a humble and hearty salad, so I'm just going to use the one I make for myself most often. It's nothing special, I assure you.

You Will Need:
Washed spinach
tomatoes
chopped carrots (which I didn't have)
chopped onion
chopped button mushrroms
chopped cucumber
cooked, cold peas
feta cheese
sunflower seeds (not pictured)
dressing of your choice

1. Layer all your ingredients on a plate in whatever way suits you best, and enjoy!

Obviously, you can add or subtract whatever you like to your own salad. This is the one I eat all the time. Quite delicious if I do say so myself!
